But all joking aside, I could not be more happy. Legitimately could not. It's always nice to hear someone who's been such a big part of your life promise to be there every single day for the rest of it. Allow me a little mush and gush here as I say (If you can't stomach the affection LOOK AWAY NOW!): Love and happiness are not as common as anyone would hope. They are certainly not something to be taken for granted. I am so incredibly lucky to have found my absolute perfect match. He highlights and compliments my strengths. He balances and compensates my weaknesses. He reminds me to stop and smell the flowers occasionally and he really does make me laugh like no one else in this world ever has. We really are the best team. The Batgirl and Nightwing of Toronto. Yep. I said it.
FOR THE STOIC TOUGH AS NAILS TYPES WHO STOPPED READING, YOU CAN COME BACK NOW.
The point of this post is 1: This is my outlet and I'm super excited, so you needed to know, and 2: If you like my blog usually I think you'll LOVE what kind of geekiness I can incorporate into a wedding.
Stay tuned!
EDIT: It was brought to my attention that something in this blog could be a bit misconstrued by those who don't know me or my relationship with my mom. Yes, she can indeed be occasionally overbearing, but I say that with nothing but love and endearment. Because while she may very well be a pain in my butt sometimes, she makes up for it by being the most generous, supportive, and loving mom one could hope for.
