Thankfully, you don't have to. I won't make you. Promise. Sweatshirts can now be made presentable for (living) human interaction. I'm sure many people found this to be true, even before my extraordinary help. Maybe this is just my personal fashion bias, but I have a really hard time going out in a basic sweater, or sweatpants...or that general kind of look. Zombie apocalypse or not, I won't be looking anything less than super stylish. Let me grab my coloured denim and more-for-show-than-anything-else combat boots first. But a sweatshirt would come in handy. Don't worry, we're covered! Comfort and style collide with this Daryl Dixon inspired sweatshirt from Etsy store LaughWear (WHO'S EXCITED FOR THE RETURN OF WALKING DEAD!? Clearly not me. I'd never type in all caps.)
So, how do you make a semi-oversized sweatshirt appropriate for something other than the gym, or sitting on your couch ready for your favourite walkers and survivors to return to tv? (Don't judge, I know people who have favourite walkers...) The simple answer: skinny jeans and a button up shirt. Still comfy, cozy and warm, but with just enough style and effort to make you the clear leader in your band of friends. As usual, it's all about styling. Roll up the sleeves so the shirt underneath cuffs over the sweater, add simple jewelry, maybe some deliberately messy hair (yes, that's what I'm going with. This was deliberate. I put thought into this messy bun...) and you're set.
Extra motivation to run fast, you won't want to ruin this look. Bonus.
