This is a point I definitely feel like Major Armstrong would be on board with. He's the proof that you can be both super buff, and super soft all at the same time. It's possible. And the combination is so unexpected and loveable! Best character ever. Which is why he makes the perfect inspiration for my first ever chic-geek hits the gym type of post. If that fictional physique and astounding personality doesn't motivate you I don't know what will.
I haven't yet done a chic-geek at the gym post yet. Some people feel the gym isn't about looks, and what you're wearing. I tend to disagree. To an extent. Sure, the main goal is of course, to work on your own health and fitness. Also, it is REALLY hard to feel cute at the gym when you're all red-faced, panting out-of-breath, sweaty with your hair sticking to you. Some people see this is a reason to not even try. I see this as the only reason you SHOULD try. Even when you feel really gross and just want to pass out, at the very least you'll have a cute outfit. Start with this ridiculously cute and funny racerback tank from RedBubble. Comfy and cute running shoes are essential. Yoga pants for optimal movement...and cute hair ties. Because, why not? Ready to work it out!
